According to the relevant standard (ECE R44 / 04), the United Nations has divided children's safety seats into the following four levels:
Group 0 / Group 0+: A rear seat or basket that is secured by a harness or ISOFIX fitting. The rearward facing child seat can be used to support the neck and help to distribute the frontal impact force during impact. Use restrictions: recommended weight less than 10 kg, the age of 15 months of use of infants, some Group 0 + level seat weight limit can be relaxed to 13 kg or less. Group 1: Positive seat, secured by seat belt or ISOFIX fittings. Seat must be provided with a 5-point seat belt to secure the child. Use restrictions: the proposed weight of 9-18 kg, aged between 9 months -4 years of age between the use of children. Group 2: Positive seat, fixed by seat belt or ISOFIX fittings, can be used directly in the original seat belts, but must be fixed in the child's body in place. Use restrictions: recommended weight 15-25 kg, aged between 4-6 years old, older but not more than 25 kg weight of children can also use the standard seat. Group 3: increase the cushion, the use of adult safety belts to children and make it in the appropriate location and height. Recommended weight of 22-36 kg between the ages of 4-10 years old.
